Last Sunday, we took an hour long ferry down the Han River. We were actually hoping it would go to Ttukksom, but I guess we were on the wrong ferry. It basically did a loop, went down in the opposite direction, past the National Assembly, turned around and came back. It wasn't really that exciting, but it was something to do on a Sunday. We always have to find something interesting to do on a Sunday.
Here is the National Assembly hall. The number of columns represent... something, but I wasn't paying attention. I was more concerned with the UFO flying over the national assembly.... We couldn't decide if it was a flying octopus monster, an alien invader, a ginormous (yea, I think I just made that word up) kite flown by like 10 people on the ground, or just some sort of intense windsock. Anyone have any idea?
If you want to take the river ferry, you can get out at Youinaru on Line 5. Follow the signs for the river ferry. It's about half way between the exit and the 63 building. Be prepared to walk through some construction if you're going anytime soon. They are redoing the whole park there.
